MutualOne Charitable Foundation’s $10,000 Grant to Project Just Because Will Help Local Families

The $10,000 grant to Project Just Because was among awards totaling $45,000 made by the MutualOne Charitable Foundation in its most recent round of funding.

The MutualOne Charitable Foundation has awarded $10,000 to help fund two Project Just Because initiatives, including its Holiday Wish List Program for low-income families, said Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank.

According to President and Founder Cherylann Lambert Walsh, the two programs provide school and holiday items while creating “an element of hope for a brighter tomorrow.”

Walsh added that for more than 11 years, Project Just Because has been “dedicated to helping as many men, women and children as we can — providing dignity and love from the heart in a caring environment.”

“The Foundation’s support will help Project Just Because keep pace with the growing need here in the MetroWest area,” said Haranas.

The $10,000 grant to Project Just Because was among awards totaling $45,000 made by the Foundation in its most recent round of funding.

The MutualOne Charitable Foundation is a continuation of the Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation following the 2012 merger of Framingham Co-operative Bank and Natick Federal Savings Bank.

Since it was originally established in 1998, the Foundation has donated over $2.3 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enhance the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.
