Singing Trooper Performs Patriotic Sing-a-long in Framingham for Veterans

Heritage at Framingham, an independent and assisted living center, held a luncheon for veterans and a performance of the "singing trooper" Monday afternoon.

Daniel Clark, known as the "singing trooper" performed for veterans, and spouses of veterans, from Framingham, Ashland and Sudbury at Heritage at Framingham Monday afternoon.

As senior centers in Framingham and neighboring communities were closed Monday for the observance of Veterans Day, Heritage at Framingham, an independent and assisted living center in Nobscot, held a luncheon and a special private performance for its veterans and those living nearby. About 40 percent of those at Heritage are either a veteran or a spouse of a veteran.

Clark, a former U.S. Marine, was employed for 20 years with the Massachusetts State Police. During that time he performed at more than 2,500 federal, state and local military events.

Recently, he sang God Bless America at one of the World Series games at Fenway Park.
