Two days and counting: Halloween is just around the corner. What do you need to know? Here's a quick rundown.

1. In Framingham, it's celebrated on Halloween. Sounds obvious, but some towns celebrate it on different days. Framingham does not set trick or treat hours like other towns. Parents are asked to use their best judgment when going out with children. 

2. The scariest thing about Halloween? Drivers and trick-or-treaters! Nightfall is often the hardest time to see people. So, slow down if you're driving, and for the trick-or-treaters, follow some basic safety steps. Make sure children hold something or wear something that is reflective, and bring a flashlight.

3. The weather is expected to be mild this year, but wet. Here is the latest Halloween forecast.

4. Where are the best streets for safe trick-or-treating? We asked people on Framingham Patch Facebook on yesterday in our Today in Framingham column, and we got several responses. The Warren-Oaks neighborhood was suggested as was the Perry Henderson neighborhood.
