SLIDESHOW: Sounds from the 22nd Annual Framingham Holiday Celebration

The Framingham Girl Scouts got the music started with a holiday sing-a-long, followed by performances from the Framingham High School band, choral department and even a return of the Framingham Elementary 5th Grade Band.

The Town of Framingham held its 22nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting inside Nevins Hall Friday night.

Santa arrived shortly after 6:30 p.m. with Mrs. Claus. Click here to view photos from Santa's arrival.

The event was sponsored by Town of Framingham, Framingham Police Association, Framingham Auxiliary Police, Framingham High School Music Department, Framingham Elementary School Music Program, Keefe Technical High School,  Christa McAuliffe Regional Charter Public School, Framingham Girl Scouts, MetroWest Medical Center and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

And a special thanks goes to Dennis Cardiff of PC Realty Trust, at 250 Franklin St., who donated the beautiful Christmas tree outside of the Memorial Building to the Town of Framingham.
