What's Open on Christmas in Framingham?

Unexpected guests arrive and need a gift? CVS and Walgreens are open 24 hours.

It's time to go over the river and through the woods, and you realize you've forgotten the butter for the mashed potatoes, a gallon of milk for the baby or worse, the main course. What to do?

First of all, don't panic, there are several places in town open that can save the day.

CVS is open 24 hours on Temple Street and Walgreens is open 24 hours on Worcester Road.

Several Asian and Chinese restaurants are open for the day. Several others are as well, but we suggest you call to make sure they are before heading out.

Not to worry, Walgreens and CVS also sell gift cards of all kinds. They have a great photo frame selection as well as a quick print photo kiosk items. 

And looking to get out of the house - maybe need a break from the relatives?

AMC Theatre Framingham is open Christmas Day. Justin Bieber's Believe and the Secret Life of Walter Mitty both open Dec. 25.

  • Retail stores
  • Most supermarkets
  • Banks 
  • No mail delivery & U.S post offices are closed
  • Federal offices & state offices
  • Framingham's Memorial Building
  • Callahan Senior Center (also closed Friday)
  • Framingham Public Library
  • No trash collection: Wednesday-Friday routes delayed one day
