Former Dennison, Framingham Public School Employee Mary Tersoni, 89, Has Died

Tersoni brought communion every first Friday of each month to the sick and the homebound and was a second generation member of the Framingham Heart Study.

Born and raised in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Teresa (Barani) Tersoni. 

She was a graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1941.

From 1942 to 1971 Mary worked in the billing department at the Dennison Manufacturing Company in Framingham for 29 years and then worked in the accounting department for the Town of Framingham School Department for 19 years retiring in 1990.

She was an active parishioner of St. Tarcisius Church having been a member of the Legion of Mary and a former treasurer for the St. Tarcisius Guild.

She brought communion every first Friday of each month to the sick and the homebound. 

She was a second generation member of the Framingham Heart Study.

She is survived by her loving siblings, Josephine Leonardo of Framingham, Elena D’Alesio and her husband Alfred of Milford, Adele D’Alesio of Milford and Louis J. Tersoni and his wife Dorothy of Framingham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday at 10 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.), Framingham followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham. Burial will follow in the family lot at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.

Visiting hours are Thursday, July 24 frm 4 to 7 p.m. at Norton Funeral Home in Framingham.

Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the St. Tarcisius Memorial Fund, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham, MA 01702 or to the charity of one’s choice.
