Funeral Service Friday for Evlyn Jasmin Rodriguez, 16

Calling hours will be held Friday May 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.

She was born in La Ceiba, Atlantida, Honduras the daughter of Anibal Rodriguez and Ana T. Castillo. 

She was a student at Framingham High School for the last year.

She was a member of Igreja Evangelica Louvai in Framingham and enjoyed studying, reading, writing, cooking and playing the tambourine.  

In addition to her parents she leaves her two brothers, Kevin A. and Jason J. Rodriguez both of Framingham; a sister Julianna Bautista of Framingham and her step-father Julio Bautista of Framingham; maternal grandfather Juan R. Tovar of Honduras, Paternal grandparents Jose A. Rodriquez and Eliva Lopez both of Honduras; many aunts and uncles and cousins.

Evlyn’s family wanted to try and make some good come out from this tragedy and donated her organs to help save others.

Calling hours will be held Friday May 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  

A funeral service will be held during the evening. 

A graveside service will be held Saturday May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist Evlyn’s family with funeral expenses or to a fund set up for the family.
