Funeral Thursday for Kailyn Elizabeth Krishtal, 9

She was the beloved daughter of Framingham Police Officer Val Krishtal of Mendon and Kristine Krishtal of North Attleboro.

Kailyn Elizabeth Krishtal, 9, of North Attleboro passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 peacefully at her home.  

She was the beloved daughter of Framingham Police Officer Val Krishtal of Mendon and Kristine Krishtal and her companion Lawrence Crosman of North Attleboro.

Kailyn was born January 4, 2005 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.  She lived in Mendon until moving to North Attleboro in 2011.

She was a student at Amvet School in North Attleboro where she was in Ms. Chiesa's EAP class.

Kailyn was known best for her cabbage patch cheeks, beautiful red locks and amazing fashion sense.

She loved music, all things Disney, swinging on the hammock with Grandpa, being outside and playing bubbles with her cousins, mylar balloons, listening to stories, being around other kids and school.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Lydia Krishtal; her brother Joshua Krishtal; maternal grandmother Lynn Carley; maternal grandfather James Carley and his companion Julie GLass; paternal grandfather Israel Krishtal; uncle and godfather Craig Carley; aunt and godmother Katie Carley; uncle Dennis Carley;aunt  Shari Carley; great-aunt Jean Carley; great grandmother Georgette Plante; great aunt Vera Faynberg; and cousins Eric Fayneberg, Evan, Reece, Elizabeth and Christopher Carley; and "Pseudo" siblings Kelsey, Connor, Erin and Cameron Crosman. She was granddaughter of the late Lena Krishtal.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours tomorrow, April 16 from 4-8 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro on Thursday, April 17 at 10 a.m.  

Burial will be held privately at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery in Attleboro Falls.

Kailyn's family requests that friends and family attending her services please wear bright colors to symbolize the joy Kailyn brought to their lives.
