Funeral Thursday for Patricia Henneberry, 69

Friends and family may pay respects at Norton Funeral Home today, April 2 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Patricia L. (Crosby) Henneberry, 69, of Framingham, died, Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

She was the wife of 31 years to the late Walter F. Henneberry, Jr., who died in 1997.

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Sullivan) Crosby.

She was a graduate of Belmont High School class of 1961 and the Chandler School for Women in Boston. She worked as a secretary for many years. She also was a stay at home mother raising her three children.

When her children went to college, she went back to school and attended Massachusetts Bay Community College where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Court Reporting in 1994. She worked for 15 years for the John Mahaney Court Reporting Agency in Boston.

She became an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with her golf friends. She thoroughly enjoyed being part of her High School Reunion Committee which provided many years of laughter to her. Patricia was devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved to sing, dance, laugh and make memories with them.

She is survived by her children, Walter F. Henneberry, III and his wife Lisa of Hopkinton, Patricia Lavin and her husband Robert of Framingham, and Kathleen Halpin and her husband Michael of Framingham; 9 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Teddy Henneberry, Patrick, Daniel and Brian Lavin, Erin, Bridget, Maura and John Halpin. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Chagnon of Colchester, CT and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late James and Thomas Crosby, Margaret Malone and Esther Condon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday, April 3, at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. in Framingham, followed by her funeral Mass at 10  a.m. in St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Rd.in Framingham. Burial will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
