WWII Vet, Accountant Louis L. Pellegrini, 89, Died Saturday

Pellegrini was a well-known, self-employed certified public accountant in Framingham for more than 55 years.

He was the husband of 53 years to the late Grace (Greene) Pellegrini, who died in 2002.

Born and raised in Framingham, he was the son of the late Joseph and Irma (Abelli) Pellegrini.

He was a graduate of Framingham High School class of 1942. 

During WWII, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a Sergeant and was a member and former Treasurer of the 483 Bomb Squadron.

He then earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University.

Pellegrini was a well-known self-employed Certified Public Accountant in Framingham for over 55 years. Last year, he enjoyed his 70th class reunion from Framingham High School.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Church, 105 Southville Rd., Southboro. 

Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.

Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, Oct. 10 from 4 to 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Bethany Healthcare Center, 97 Bethany Road, c/o Sr. Jacqueline McCarthy, C.S.J, Framingham, MA 01702.
