5 Things You Need To Know Today: Sept 21 [VIDEO]

Today is the United Nations International Day of Peace. Center of Light in Framingham and the Framingham Interfaith Clergy Association has organized an event on the Town Green from 5 to 8 p.m. The public is invited.

Our daily morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.

At 5:30 p.m., there will be a peace parade around the green, led by the 'Peace Dove' made by youth in accord. From 6 to 7:30 p.m. there will be live music followed by prayers. From 7:30 to 8 p.m., the event will end with a candlelit vigil and closing prayers.
