COMMENTS: Meaningful Tax Relief to Framingham Residential Taxpayers

I like 500+ neighbors in Framingham am deeply saddened by the decision of the Building Inspector to grant Walden’s Dover Amendment application.  The unfortunate news comes at a time in which I am running for Selectman with confidence that my tax law training can help avoid a repeat of the tax assessments issued in 2012.  Recent posts attacking my character, however, evidence desperate attempts to detract from my efforts to bring meaningful tax relief to those who struggle to stay in their homes.

SayNotoWalden” remains one on my proudest community organizing efforts which afforded me the chance to work with incredibly talented individuals across Framingham.  I stand by every post I made with regard to Walden’s effort relocate to the Marist property.   With the aid of legal counsel, I am confident that the neighbors will succeed in proving that Walden is no more an educational institution than I am.

In the weeks leading up to the April 1st election I will ask Framingham residents to vote to correct the disparities of our tax assessment practices, recoup millions in lost revenue, and elect a proven leader who’ll fight for every neighborhood in Framingham.  To ensure that my campaign message remains focused this post will be my sole reply to future attempts to besmirch my candidacy.
