Help Determine The 'Best Of' Framingham

The weekly series lets Patch readers—the real experts around town—decide where to find the best of everything Framingham.

As editors at Patch.com, we strive to provide a certain expertise about the towns we cover. But we know the real experts are you, the residents and natives of Framingham, who drive around town every day, dine at its restaurants and patronize its businesses.

So, we want to hear from you! Who in town makes the tastiest sandwich; who pours the best cup of coffee? Where's the best place to get your hair done, or to work out? Each Monday, we'll give you a new topic.

We'll collect the votes and comments throughout the week, until Friday at 9 a.m. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews.

The series begins Monday morning with the topic of where to get the best sandwich.

So, be sure to vote in our poll any time during the week, and don't forget to check back on Fridays to see who's named the winner.

GREAT idea! Hopefully this will uncover some little known gems and keep business local!

I had a fantastic "local" day today with the kids. 2 fun-filled hours at Whimsy, then yummy (and huge) sandwiches at Cafe Fresh Bagel, followed by make-your-own sundaes at Mad Willies.

At Liza -- some of our favorite place in this family! *** Feel free to post sandwich places we should list in our Best of Framingham for Monday.

I can't really eat sandwiches anymore but pre-G-free I LOVED the sammies at Zaftig's. They were so ridiculously enormous that they were lunch AND dinner (we used to get two different ones and swap the next night for dinner) and everything is so incredibly fresh, a peeve of mine. Plus you can futz with it for ever - add stuff, remove stuff, toasted, warmed, grilled, they don't care. If I get past this G-free issue one of the first things I will do is get a chicken salad sandwich on challah with mayo and lettuce at Zaftig's! (Given that the OTHER "first thing" I want is their pancakes I might just have to move in for the day!)
