LETTER: If Flyers Win Saturday, $45,000 Needed To Send Them to National Championship

Tomorrow, Nov. 26 Framingham Flyers 7th Grade Youth Football team will play in the New England Championship; a win sends then to Florida for the National Playoffs at a pricetag of $45,000.

The has already captured the , and for the first time ever has won the . 

They will battle for the New England Championship tomorrow, Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. at Doyle Field in Leominster.
 
If they are victorious against the Hartford Wildcats from Connecticut, they will have punched their ticket to head to the National AYF Championship in Florida.

No team from Framingham or the Bay State League has ever gone this far.
 
These 31 boys and their coaches have not just succeeded, on the field but off the field, as well.

They have raised over 600 pounds of food for the food banks and shelters of Framingham and the Metro West area. . The . In addition, they helped send over 300 pound of contents in care packages to our troops in Afghanistan for the upcoming holidays.

The cost of taking the whole team to Florida for next week’s (Dec. 3-10) AYF National Championship will cost about $45,000.

Between airfare, hotel, meals and ground transportation, as well as a tutor to help them with their homework while they are away from school.
 
Please help us send the kids to Florida. Give what you can and help send the boys off to the AYF National Championship.
