On changing the zone to comercial on the Marist property

I read several articles on the impact that this change will have on my neighborhood. I live in this neighborhood and is extremely frustrating that we are even considering changing what is obviously a residential neighborhood into something commercial! There were several discussions on the plus and minuses of this proposed change. I did not hear how the people that come to Framingham for treatment will get there and back home. I worked in emergency room mental health for years. Anyone leaving an emergency room for inpatient treatment typically goes by ambulance at any time, because ER need to move people out. This will bring traffic to this area at all times. More importantly once patients are ready for discharge , some will be discharged even if not ready because of insurance reasons, how would these patients go home? Particularly homeless patients from far away ER, that Walden can't denied access ER will be sending to Framingham (Walden is considered a specialty hospital, they take patients from all over) and they will be staying right in Framingham to enjoy the outstanding net of social services, treatment, shelters, etc that we have in our very generous town. It will be a great disservices to Framingham town residents that we let this institution change the character of a whole neighborhood with promises of additional revenues that this town will never see when you take into consideration everything that will come with it. I hope that the commission will do the right thing for this town and my neighborhood and  vote NO on changing this zone to commercial.

Worried and stressed!
