Report suspect was armed with a knife.

Report of an attempted armed robbery of a taxi cab on Waverly Street near the former Harley store after 10 p.m. Monday.

K-9 unit requested by Framingham Police. Search area includes Beaver Street, First Street and the Mary Denninson Playground.

Report suspect was armed with a knife.
