Firefighters Responding to a Medical Call Find Woman, 6 Dogs Living in Squalor

Framingham firefighters responding to a medical call for a woman in distress discovered six dogs that had relieved themselves repeatedly in a Framingham hotel room.

Framingham firefighters responding to a medical call for a woman in distress discovered six dogs that had relieved themselves repeatedly in a Framingham hotel room.

The Framingham Fire Department arrived at the Red Roof Inn, at 650 Cochituate Rd, just after 9 a.m. and discovered feces and urine all over the hotel room floor. The woman had rented the room for three years, said emergency workers.

Firefighters transported the woman to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Her name, age and condition is unknown, at this time.

Framingham Board of Health was called to the hotel room, as was Framingham Animal Control. The dogs were removed from the hotel

Management at Red Roof Inn said it could not discuss the incident and referred Patch to its corporate office.
