Updated: Framingham Firefighter Injured in Southborough Crash

Southborough Police said the Framingham firefighter was driving his motorcycle when he was hit by a drunk driver.

A Framingham firefighter suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night on Route 9, according to a press release from the Southborough Police.

Joseph Keefe of Framingham was hit by a car Southborough Police said was driven by a driver over the legal limit for alcohol.

Keefe was transported to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

Police arrested Peter Fucci of Southborough. He was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor causing serious injury, leaving the scene of an accident causing injury not resulting in death and driving to endanger. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Westborough District Court today.
