UPDATED: Framingham Man Arraigned on Charges of Raping 5-Year-Old

The Framingham man was charged with 2 counts of rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child under age 14 and distributing obscene matter to a child.

Erick Figueroa of Framingham was arraigned in Framingham District Court on charges of raping a 5-year old over the weekend.

Framingham Police arrested Figueroa, 22, of 30 Claflin St. of Framingham at the police station Tuesday night at 7.

He was charged with 2 counts of rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child under age 14 and distributing obscene matter to a child. 

The incident happened over the weekend, when Figueroa was babysitting a relative.

Judge Greco ordered him held on $200,000 bail, with conditions of stay away/no contact with the victim, victim’s parents, and any child under age 18, and surrender his passport, said a spokesperson for the Middlesex District Attorney.
