Framingham Police arrested a Greenview Street resident Tuesday night and charged him with armed robbery of two markets.
Ramon Roman, 29, 6 Greenview St., Apt. 116, was arrested at his residence.
He was charged with two counts of armed robbery.
Police say he held up AV's Market II on Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Raj Mini Market, 80 Waverly St. Sunday night.
An employee at AV's II Market told Police a black man wearing a black hooded jacket and latex gloves pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and threatened to shoot him, if the clerk didn’t give him money, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini.
Brandolini said the clerk gave the suspect "several thousand dollars." The man then left the store and headed towards Ashland on Waverly Street.
On Sunday at 7:15 p.m., the owner of Raj Mini Market told Police a Hispanic man with a handgun robbed his store of $700 cash.
Roman was to be arraigned in Framingham District Court Wednesday. The judge held him on $50,000 bail.
