Framingham Man Charged with Motor Vehicle Homicide, OUI

Police said Ariel Medina-Vaca, 23, of Framingham, was killed when the vehicle driven by a Framingham man crashed into a tree in Southborough.

A Framingham man, who police said was driving drunk when his vehicle crashed into a tree in Southborough, killing his Framingham passenger, was charged with motor vehicle homicide at his arraignment Friday at Westborough District Court, reported the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

Andres Juarez, 27, of Framingham was charged with motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, marked lanes violation, driving while under the influence of liquor and motor vehicle homicide OUI-liquor or negligent. 

Police said Ariel Medina-Vaca, 23, of Framingham, was killed when the vehicle Juarez was driving crashed into a tree on Northborough Road in Southborough, near the Marlborough line on June 11.

According to court records, Juarez' blood alcohol level was .177, twice the legal limit of .08. 

At his arraignment Friday, Judge Vito Virzi set bail at $10,000 cash and ordered on GPS monitoring. Click here to read more.
