Framingham Man Held on $25K Bail After Fatal Mansfield Hit-and-Run

A Framingham man who was allegedly drunk when he struck and killed a pedestrian on Hope Street Sunday night was held on $25,000 bail.

Hung Manh Ho, 57, of Framingham, was charged with OUI, vehicular homicide, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Mansfield police identified the victim as James Walker, 44, of Mansfield.

Police said the crash happened near Pratt Street at about 9:30 p.m. Witnesses said they saw a white truck hit Walker then take off. Firefighters said they saw the truck driving the wrong way down North Main Street as they responded to the scene.

Officer Robert Pierce stopped the truck, a 2004 Ford F-350, and said there was damage to the hood and side mirror.

Ho was arraigned Monday. A prosecutor said Ho's blood-alcohol content was .125, according to the Sun Chronicle.
