UPDATED: Framingham Police Investigating Tuesday Night Shooting

The victim was shot in the upper thigh and was taken to Tufts Medical Center, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini.

Framingham Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night near Second Street, according to residents in the neighborhood, who contacted Framingham Patch.

They reported that the shooting took place near 56 Second St. about 9 p.m.

Patch has an unconfirmed report that a gun shot victim was taken to MetroWest Medical Center on Lincoln St.

The victim, ager 24, was shot in the upper thigh and was taken to Tufts Medical Center, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini said Wednesday morning.
