Was there a full moon last night? Seems like an awful lot of crashes. Jim@ccfiile.com

Yesterday, May 15 did seem like it was a full moon ... this police log (May 8th) just seems typically to me. On any given day, there are a lot of crashes in Framingham! There were only a couple of arrests that day - some days have as many as 7-10 arrests.

I think instead of funding our SWAT team, those officers should be teaching people how to drive. Jim@ccfiile.com

Jim: There are a lot of drivers in Framingham who need a refresher on the rules of the road. ... at least once a day I see a driver cross the center line to go past a driver they think is too slow or drive into another lane to take a turn ... I'm surprised there are not more accidents on a given day!

I have noticed much more aggressive driving in the morning with all the construction traffic paticually around Edgell Rd. I saw a middle aged woman start laying on her horn as traffic was stopped for a while and just started trying to cut through everyone.

Donald: I agree - lots of impatient and aggressive drivers! And just today, I saw cars refusing to pull over for an ambulance and when another car went to pull back out after pulling over another car almost hit her and then honked on the horn like it was her fault for pulling over ... ... another bad area is over by the Little League ballfields near Barbieri Elementary & Loring -- I have seen a couple of near misses the past week.

Yeah that Fountain St. Dudley Rd intersection needs a light. I don't know who came up criss cross idea at that stop sign but I am guessing owned a local body shop. Barbieri has a lot of parents dropping off now where before last year all the kids road the bus, thus increasing the traffic in the area.
