A Framingham teen, 17, is in an induced coma, following a crash in Ashland over the weekend.

Natalia Vicente, 17, was the passenger in a car driver by Luciano Agostinelli, 18, also of Framingham.

Vicente had to be flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital after the Nissan driven by Agostinelli crashed into a utility pole in Ashland on Route 135 about 5:30 p.m. on July 18, according to Ashland Police.

Police are investigating the crash but no one has been arrested or cited.

Over the weekend, teens began posting get well messages for Vicente all over social media.

A high school Facebook site also posted about the crash - "The FHS Compliments team wishes Natalia Vicente a safe and speedy recovery. The whole community is rooting and praying for you!"

Vicente recently graduated from Framingham High.
