Grand Jury Indicts 5 Men in Kendall Street Armed Robbery

The robbery happened in January at A&J on Kendall Street.

A Middlesex County grand jury has indicted five men in connection with a armed robbery of a Framingham store in January.

Shane Bushey, 23, of Framingham, and Solomon Lansana, 26, of Newton, were both charged by the grand jury with masked armed robbery and larceny of more than $250,  said the Middlesex District Attorney's office said in a press release. Lansana was also charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

William Scott, 26, and Sherod Smith, 22, both of Framingham, were charged with being an accessory after the fact. Christopher Krobo, 24, of Roxbury, was charged with intimidation of a witness.

Lansana and Bushey robbed the A&J Grocery store in January, Police said.

Police said both men wore masks, while Lansana was armed with a sawed-off shotgun.

Smith hid the gun at his Grant Street aprartment, after the robbery, according to police.

Scott picked it up the following day and then hid it in his freezer at his Grant Street apartment, according to police.
