UPDATED: Framingham Police Searching for 5-6 Suspects in Home Invasion, Woman and Children Bound

Police said the male homeowner was forced at gunpoint to open a safe.

Framingham Police reported about 10:15 p.m. they were continuing to search for five to six Hispanic or black males, who are suspects in a home invasion robbery on Beacon Street.

At about 8:45 p.m., a woman and three children were zip-tied by the men, while the male homeowner was forced to open a home safe at gunpoint, according to Framingham Police Lt. Ronald Brandolini, in an emailed message. 

An undisclosed amount of money was taken. All of the male suspects then fled the area.  all parties left the area. No one was injured in the crime.

Framingham Police are searching for five to six people involved in a home invasion robbery on Beacon Street, according to an initial scanner report.

The suspects reportedly brandished a handgun and tied up the residents, according to the report.

The crime was reported about 9 p.m. at 257 Beacon St. Police are searching the area with police dogs, for five to six suspects who fled on foot.
