Pheasant Hill Neighborhood Experiences Increase in Vehicle Breakins

Over the weekend, eight vehicles were broken into in the Pheasant Hill Neighborhood.

Over the weekend, eight vehicles were broken into in the Pheasant Hill neighborhood.

"For a quiet neighborhood like ours, this is very troubling," said Scott Wadland.

Cars were reported broken into on Lanewood Avenue, Briarwood Road, Ledgewood Road and Angelica Drive on Saturday and Sunday, according to the Framingham Police logs.

More than a handful of the residents filed police reports.

According to residents who contacted Framingham Patch, multiple portable GPS units, an iPod, a backpack and other items were stolen. Some of the vehicles were locked when broken into, but some were not.

Framingham Police had made no arrests in regards to the vehicles broken into as of 6 p.m. Monday.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicle doors, to take valuable electronics into their homes or hide them from plain sight and to contact police if they witness any suspicious individuals in the neighborhood.
