UPDATED: Men Charged with Assault with Deadly Weapon Following Double Stabbing

Three men were arrested in Holliston Saturday following a double-stabbing in Framingham. Two men are charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. One man is in custody on a warrant.

UPDATED: Framingham Police have announced the arrest of three men following a double stabbing on 2nd Street that left a woman with a stab wound to the chest.

The men were apprehended in Holliston. Two men are charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Another male was arrested on a Holliston warrant, according to Framingham Police Lt. Ronald S. Brandolini.

Mark Holloway, 27, of Sharon Parkway, North Smithfield, RI, and William Bryant, 24, of Goddard St., Providence, RI, were arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon (knife), Brandolini said, in an emailed message. The third male, not identified, is in custody in Holliston on a warrant.

According to Brandolini, Framingham Police responded about 2:45 a.m. Saturday to a disturbance in the area behind 59 Second St. Upon arrival, officers encountered a group of people around an unconscious woman.

Officers were told by witnesses that the 26-year-old woman was stabbed by a male assailant who fled with several other males in a van toward Beaver Street, Brandolini wrote. The woman's boyfriend was on the scene and had a laceration to his arm.

The woman was taken to Tufts University hospital with a stab wound to chest. The 27-year-old male victim was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

A short time later, the van was stopped in Holliston and three males were arrested, Brandolini reported.

Framingham Police are investigating a reported double-stabbing on 2nd Street early Saturday morning.

An initial scanner report indicated police were searching for multiple suspects.

The stabbing was reported shortly before 5 a.m.
