UPDATED: Cyclist Struck On Edgell Road; Car Into Hydrant on Winch

Framingham Patch is receiving reports from residents of a cyclist struck on Edgell Road.

Just after 1 p.m. Framingham Police and Fire responded to two crashes in the Nobscot section of town.

A car struck a cyclist on Edgell Road, near Scott and Pine.

The male cyclist, believed to be an adult, was transported to a hospital with minor injuries, said Framingham Deputy Police Chief Ron Brandolini.

Not far away, a car struck a fire hydrant on Winch St. Unknown injuries.
