A car crashed into a pole and then slammed into a tree killing the driver on Franklin Street, early Thanksgiving morning.

A car crashed into a pole and then slammed into a tree killing the driver on Franklin Street, early Thanksgiving morning around 3:10 a.m.

The accident happened just after the at 384 Franklin St.

While no one at the scene would officially confirm it was a fatality, police on the scanner requested the reconstruction team, the and the medical examiner.

A neighbor near the accident, who didn't wish to be identified, said the driver was partially ejected from the car. "It is a nasty scene," he said.
