Skunk Tests Positive For Rabies

On March 31, a skunk tested positive for rabies, according to Framingham Animal Control.

Framingham Police issued an alert today, April 7, that a skunk in the area of the Framingham/Southborough line tested positive for rabies.

"Keeping domestic animals currently vaccinated against Rabies is not only important, it is the law. All dogs, cats and ferrets must be vaccinated against Rabies, even your indoor pets. It is recommended that Horses and other livestock be vaccinated as well. Please talk to your veterinarian about vaccinating your pets," wrote Framingham Police on its Facebook page.
