Sunday Afternoon Crash Traps Woman in Vehicle

Framingham Police and Fire responded to a serious crash on Grant Street Sunday afternoon just before 1:30 p.m.

Upon arriving on the scene, emergency crews found a woman, age unknown, trapped in her vehicle. Framingham Fire had to extricate the woman.

A medical helicopter landed at Framingham DPW and transported the woman to a hospital with "serious" injuries, according to Twitter reports.

Scanner reports had the woman conscious when placed in the helicopter
