University Employee Charged $167,000 to Framingham State Card
Framingham State University's procurement card program has been suspended.
A Framingham State University employee was fired after allegedly misusing a university card for as much as $167,000 in illegitimate expenses.
The University would not identify the individual, but said the person had been terminated.

The university’s procurement card program has been suspended.
When the university became aware of the spending, they immediately notified campus police who alerted the attorney general’s office. The university also notified the state auditor’s office, reported The Boston Globe.
