UPDATED: Pedestrian Struck on Route 9 at Gas Station Thursday

A woman was struck by a car at the entrance of the Hess Gas Station on Route 9  Thursday evening.

The woman, 20, whose name and hometown was not released, was transported to UMass Memorial in Worcester with serious but non life- threatened injuries, according to fire officials.

Police are investigating the incident. Police said a car stopped to let the woman cross at the entrance of the gas station, but a truck struck the car and then the car struck the woman.
