UPDATED: Victims of Overnight Shooting Require LifeFlight; Suspect Arrested

Christopher Edusei, 25, was arrested in Boston this morning on attempted murder charges after an overnight shooting in Framingham.

According to the Framingham Police Department spokesman Lt. Ronald S. Brandolini, at approximately 1:30 a.m. today (July 27, 2013), police were notified by a witness that a shooting had just occurred in front of 370 Hollis Street.

At the same time, the detail officer reported that two males in their twenties had arrived with gunshot wounds to the emergency room:

  • one white male was flown by LifeFlight to Tufts in critical condition shot in head area, and
  • one Hispanic male was shot in the chest area and was flown by LifeFlight to UMass Medical in Worcester in critical but stable condition
The shooting was a result of an altercation amongst individuals who knew each other.

Framingham Police responded to a shooting on Union Avenue this morning at 2 a.m. 

There were two victims in the shooting, one with a gunshot wound to the head and the second with a shot to the chest. LifeFlight was requested for both victims.
