VIDEO: Golf Balls Fall as Money Raised

Hemenway Elementary School's PTO held a golf ball drop, with help from the Framingham Fire Department, as a fundraiser at its spring fair on Sunday.

Dozens and dozens of brightly colored golf balls fell from the sky Sunday at , as part of the PTO's golf ball drop fundraiser.

The event, ended the PTO's successful spring fair.

With the help of the , golf balls were dropped. Each had a number on it. Individuals had paid $10 to "own" each golf ball.

The ball closest to a flag placed under the bucket on the fire truck won $700.

Prizes were also awarded for the ball farthest from the flag, and second closest to the flag.
