1. Framingham Selectmen gave approval for a Framingham Beer Works to open in the former Bugaboo Creek Restaurant. The building is undergoing renovations and is expected to open in late 2012. Selectmen were asked to approve an all-alcohol and restaurant license for Slesar Bros. Brewing Company

2. Framingham State Rep. Tom Sannicandro is holding an event on controlling health care costs at Ashland Town Hall from 6-7:30 p.m Panelists include Steve Walsh, chair of Health Care Financing and author of the landmark 2012 Cost Containment Health Care bill, Assistant Attorney General Karen Tseng and MassCare Director Ben Day, a supporter of single-payer health insurance.
