Congresswoman Clark To Give Economic Update at MetroWest Chamber Luncheon

In addition to Rep. Katherine Clark, Massachusetts' Secretary of Housing and Economic Development, Greg Bialecki will provide an update regarding the State's Economic Development Plan – Choosing to Compete on April 17.

Congresswoman Katherine Clark, who represents Framingham, will be the featured speaker at the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce's Exec-Connect Luncheon on Thursday, April 17 at the Verve Crowne Plaza located on Route 9. 

U.S. Representative Clark will update the MetroWest region on the legislative efforts being undertaken at the federal level to spur economic development in Massachusetts.

In addition, Massachusetts' Secretary of Housing and Economic Development, Greg Bialecki will provide an update regarding the State’s Economic Development Plan – Choosing to Compete.

On Dec. 10, 2013, Clark was sent to Washington by the people of Massachusetts’s 5th Congressional District to be their voice as Congress debates the most critical issues of our time. 

Since 2009, Gregory Bialecki has served as the Secretary of Housing and Economic Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As Governor Patrick’s chief housing and economic development advisor and cabinet member, Bialecki has oversight of 14 state agencies that carry out on the Administration’s top priorities in business development, housing and community development, consumer affairs, and business regulation. The focus of his Secretariat is the creation of homes and jobs in the Commonwealth. To that end, he has aligned the state’s housing and economic development priorities to coordinate policies and programs that ensure Massachusetts maintains its global competitive edge.
