Construction Continues on North and South Concord Streets

Framingham Public Works division has issued an alert for state and local road construction and bridge work.

Chouteau Avenue Area: Construction crews will continue roadway reconstruction activities on Chouteau Avenue, Lasalle Avenue, Lakeview Road, Laclede Avenue and Lake Road. Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Use caution and expect delays while traveling in this area.

North Concord Street Detour: To facilitate the deep gravity sewer main construction and pipe jacking underneath the Sudbury River Levy, a detour for all northbound traffic on Concord Street in Saxonville is currently in place. All northbound traffic traveling on Concord Street will be detoured from Concord Street to School Street, from School Street to Cottage Street, from Cottage Street to Danforth Street and from Danforth Street back onto Concord Street; southbound traffic traveling on Concord Street will continue south on Concord Street. Click here for detour map.

Edgell Road: Roadway construction activities continue on Edgell Road with installation of sidewalks, conduit and curbing. Traffic will be managed through the work zone by lane shifts. Construction activities are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Use caution and expect delays while traveling in the area.

Framingham Department of Public Works Highway Department Projects

Lincoln Street: Construction crews will be installing roadway markings, and sidewalk construction on Lincoln Street. Construction activities are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please use caution and expect delays while traveling in this area.

Pleasant Street Area: The Highway Department will be installing a pavement leveler course in the Pleasant Street area. Construction activities are scheduled between to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Use caution and expect delays while traveling in this area.

South Concord Street: Construction crews will continue to remove sidewalk panels and install communications conduit on Concord Street between Hartford Street and Lincoln Street. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Use caution and expect delays while traveling in this area.

Vernon Street and Oak Street: Roadway construction activities will continue with sidewalk construction and the removal/resetting of curbing. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Use caution and expect delays while traveling in this area.
