Framingham Department of Public Works will hold an informal forum for Saxonville residents to meet with Department of Public Works staff,  construction project managers and consultants responsible for the work in their neighborhood on Thursday, June 26 at 7 at Cameron Middle School.

Residents can review the anticipated construction projects, speak with staff and understand the important public infrastructure and environmental health benefits to their neighborhoods.

“Having a setting where residents can see what is planned and understand the significant value that the project has on their neighborhood and Framingham as a whole generates pride in our town, Framingham DPW Director Peter Sellers.

The forum is specifically to discuss Town of Framingham projects, but there will be a brief update on MassDOT projects, including the Wickford Bridge.

The last update from MASSDOT was for the bridge to be finished in mid to late July.

In what year, will we be able to drive through Saxonville without construction on a major roadway?

One small item--the last update on the Wickford Bridge stated that the work was beginning on May 12 and should be completed in six to eight weeks. The end of the eighth week of work is July 4 (July 3), not "mid to late July". At this rate, though, I'd take anything in July.

Sorry - I should have been clearer. The newest update is for the bridge to be completed by "mid to late July." The last publish report I wrote was when construction resumed it would be completed in 6-8 weeks, which should be next week. That will not happen.
