Expect Construction on Concord, Eaton and Eisenhower

Framingham Department of Public Works issued its weekly update on road construction in town and where to expect delays and detours.

Below is where motorists can expect to find traffic, congestion, detours and closures this week due to ongoing construction:

Concord Street between School Street and the northern intersection of “A” Street: It is anticipated that trench/roadway restoration activities will continue on Concord Street between School Street and the northern intersection of “A” Street the week of Dec. 10 Construction activities will be in progress between 7 a.m. and 4p.m. daily. Traffic through the work zone will be managed utilizing lane shifts and restrictions, however if necessary traffic through the work zone may be reduced to a one lane alternating traffic management plan between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. – Expect delays while travelling in this area. Eaton Road/Eisenhower Road – Updated
Roadway/trench restoration activities will continue on Eaton Road, Eisenhower Road and Nob Hill Drive.  While construction is in progress, traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan.  Construction activities are scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (Click Here For Map)
