The Framingham Democratic Town Committee will hold its annual
holiday party Sunday, Dec. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the function room at the Framingham Green Apartments, 136
Maynard Rd. A pot
luck dinner will be provided.
All Democrats are welcome to join in on the celebration, which will feature an opportunity to meet several candidates for state-wide office, including congressional candidate Sen. Katherine Clark and gubernatorial candidate Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley.
There will be no regular monthly business meeting during the month of December in observance of the busy holiday season and in consideration of the busy schedules of the membership.
This event will provide an excellent opportunity to socialize and have light conversation with the political leaders and candidates who will be present.
Each time the Town Democratic Committee meets, the members show their support for a local charity. Members are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for distribution at the new Pearl Street Shelter. In addition, members are asked to bring food to contribute to the pot luck table.
