I read the chat.....pretty boring if you ask me. The questions were most likely censored as not to get into the "Real" issues. Lets see....hmmm...illegal immigrations seems to be a BIG problem. Typical sanitized discussion. The country is sinking and we dilly dally around with no-hreatening topics. Jobs.....got to have a place for them to work first. Banking....one big ball of corruption there. The haves and We the havenots. Bottom line the country is going bankrupt along with the towns. If Govt. continues to spend for all their wars and snuggles up with all their buddies in the corporate world don't expect anything positive to come out of this mess. Jim@ccfiile.com

I can see that she does not recognize that she and other professors are part of the problem of escallating college costs. Also, she mentions that Bunker Hill Community College has classes basically ALL Day, from very early in the morning to very late at night. However, there is no mention of cutting out classes that are offered that bring no value to the student population, but fulfill a political agenda of those that want the classes on the docket and try to force students to take them. Ms Warren also doesn't seem to understand that our government is spending way too much of our money. Job Bills that are related to keeping government jobs afloat should be shot down. Those jobs don't fluctuate like the private sector does during hard times. That is why they are suffering now. A Jobs Bill that would stimulate private sector jobs would then increase the tax base and help the necessary government jobs to survive. But we need to look at all of our costs within the government. It is way too bloated!!

By the way, can you do one of these with Scott Brown?

Still don't understand the Native American stuff here. If HER parents or at least ONE parent was Native American, then at least a half of her is the same. >>But growing up, I knew that my parents had been very much in love, but that my father's family said they couldn't get married because my mother was part Cherokee and part Delaware. So they eloped. We grew up with this all our lives>> She would certainly be More than half part native American., I mean, am I missing something here? Joe Rizoli

I'm a little disappointed Ms. Warren didn't get a chance to weigh in on the sparkler dilemma. Obviously, the sparkler debate hasn't reached the federal level (yet), but it has certainly become a wedge issue in MetroWest. Hopefully before this election cycle is complete, she -- as well as Scott Brown -- can give us an idea about whether they think sparklers are right or wrong for our community.
