Paving Scheduled For Edgell Road Wednesday Night, Thursday Morning

Despite the heavy rains today, a contractor is planning on paving Edgell Road tonight, July 16 into Thursday morning, according to Framingham Public Works.

NOTE: This paving is weather permitting - if downpours happen, it may be postponed again.

In order to maintain public safety, minimize adverse impacts on emergency vehicle response time, traffic flows and business in general, the contractor will pave the road over night.

Edgell Road between Central Street and Route 9 will be paved between 7 p.m. (July 16) and 6 a.m. (July 17).

Police detail officers will be on site to assist in the facilitation of traffic flow and to assist with emergency response. Please use caution while travelling through this area and follow all detours.

This paving had been postponed for several days due to the weather.

The re-paving is being done at the expense of the contractor, under a warranty claim by the Town.
