VIDEO: Lawyer Marks Milestone Birthday with Trek to Nepal

Framingham attorney Chris Petrini fulfilled a life-long dream in 2011, when he traveled around the world and for 16 days hiked 150 miles along the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.

Framingham attorney Chris Petrini fulfilled a life-long dream in 2011 when he traveled around the world and for 16 days hiked 150 miles along the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.

To celebrate his 50th birthday, Petrini and friend John Bottini trekked through the "rooftop of the world" with the assistance of a Sherpa.

On Wednesday night, Petrini talked about his adventure and screened a 40-minute video, produced by a Boston College student (Michael Lamy), made from hundreds of Petrini's more than 1,200 photos snapped during the journey.

A standing room crowd of more than 100 people squeezed into the Costin Room at the to here Petrini, a former selectman and current town counsel to the Town of Framingham, recall his spiritual journey.

After the video, Petrini answered questions from the audience.
