Framingham attorney Chris Petrini fulfilled a life-long dream in 2011 when he traveled around the world and for 16 days hiked 150 miles along the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.

To celebrate his 50th birthday, Petrini and friend John Bottini trekked through the "rooftop of the world" with the assistance of a Sherpa.

On Wednesday night, Petrini talked about his adventure and screened a 40-minute video, produced by a Boston College student (Michael Lamy), made from hundreds of Petrini's more than 1,200 photos snapped during the journey.

A standing room crowd of more than 100 people squeezed into the Costin Room at the to here Petrini, a former selectman and current town counsel to the Town of Framingham, recall his spiritual journey.

After the video, Petrini answered questions from the audience.

I always thought Chris had his head in the clouds! Some people in the town think he should of stayed there. Jim@ccfiile.com

Jim: Sometimes if you don't have something nice to say, best to say nothing at all. Chris took an amazing adventure for his 50th - and the video featuring hundreds of Petrini's photos is fabulous.

Jim is just upset because Chris left the country and came back in, so using Rizoli-logic he is considered an immigrant with no rights. The video was very well done, thanks to Chris for sharing such a special journey!

People who live in glass houses should not be tossing rocks. James, if you ever have a hope of anyone taking you seriously you need to be far more selective in where and on what you comment.

To be honest with you I wanted to see that but forget about it....maybe later. The comments are in jest...but again some have no appreciation for a little levity. Jim@ccfiile.com
