Why are the Democrats so PRO Illegal Immigration? What type of example does this set for rule of Law and especially what example does it set for our children to take the sides with people that have document fraud, false licenses, false names, false everything? PLEASEEEEEE don't give me the "the immigration Laws are broken", they are NOT, they are just not being enforced. Joe Rizoli

As Senator what would you do that is different from Scott Brown with regard to creating jobs so that families can get back on their feet.

How would you bring jobs back to Massachusetts? Currently my husband commutes to his job in RI, his job was originally in Boston and he now travels an hour each way. He is also not compensated for the commute and he has not gotten a raise in 4 years. It is also important to keep college affordable (ie, tuition and student loan rates) but how would you create opportunities for college student to get summer jobs. My son has been unable to get a summer job the last two summers because "he is going to go back to college". At this rate he will graduate without a real job experience. How do you propose to help him? He will be a first time voter as well.

I'd like to hear how she would work with the Republicans across the aisle in the Senate. our government is paralyzed right now by partisan politics and the art of compromise and working together for the greater good of our country seems to have been lost.

As Senator, how will you have an influence on the Senate leadership and in conference committees to help congress make progress and not be stymied by those who will not compriomise.
Dave Hornfischer July 11, 2012 at 03:09 PM
I would echo Kevin Mullen's question about partisanship. Ms. Warren, as a card carrying liberal, seems to only worsen the partisan divide that exists. To date she has shown little to indicate she would bridge any gulf other than to state one position.

What would Ms. Warren do in the Senate to address the urgent problem of global warming? Related question: Where does she stand on government subsidies for the oil industry?

Dear Professor Elizabeth Warren, Some States in the Union of President Abraham Lincoln have considered and given in to Same Sex Marriage as distinct from the Domestic Arrangement of Civil Unions of Same Sex People, should they both have the same rights regardless of the traditional biological hetero-marriage where Family Union for Children Rearing is a Prime Social and Moral Sanctity of Family Life ? The Federal US Supreme Court hasn't considred this thorny question what is your Opinion and how should the US Supreme Court decide ? Ignore the biology locus standi of 5000 years history or otherwise ? What is the Equity and Justice in this scenario ???? Gerald Heng Sr. Metrowest Boston,MA. USA a naturalized US Citizen.

Will you abide by the Constitution of the United States and uphold it's original principles or advance the prevalent "Progressive Movement" which you seem to avow?

What is your stance on gun laws and regulations? Do you feel enough is being done or would you like to see a specific section of it refined?

Many of our countries current economic woes originate from the actions of those working on Wall Street. Having previously passed legislation and established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, how does Elizabeth Warren plan to address the crucial need for regulating the trading of derivatives on Wall Street?

Recently, NStart has been devastating the appearance of our neighborhoods by clear-cutting trees along its above-ground transmission lines. While we all recognize the importance of preventing damage to the wires that falling trees can cause, many people in our neighborhoods are upset with the brute force, unilateral solution that NStar is forcing down our throats, with no allowance made for community input. This feels like another instance of big company insensitivity to local and environmental concerns. How would you cause utilities like NStar to be more responsive to the preferences of the customers they serve? George Deak

As a parent and as someone who has worked in education, I feel that one of Massachusetts greatest strengths is its proud legacy of education both primary and secondary. As the spouse of a medical professional, I also feel that innovative history of Massachusetts healthcare in both its services and access is another the great source of pride. Given that your opponent has a voting and rhetoric record of disparaging education and healthcare, as Senator, what measures would you recommend so that the strong symbiosis of Massachusetts' education and healthcare continues to protect and strengthen its citizens and its economy?
