SLIDESHOW: Community Thanks Dennis Giombetti For Service, Commitment and Dedication to Framingham

Fellow Selectmen and scores of community leaders, town employees and lifelong residents like the honoree, thanked outgoing Selectman Dennis Giombetti for his years of service to Framingham Monday evening.

Fellow Selectmen and scores of community leaders, town employees and lifelong residents like the honoree, thanked outgoing Selectman Dennis Giombetti for his years of service to Framingham Monday evening.

Today, April 1 is Giombetti's last day serving on the Framingham Board of Selectmen. He served three, three-year terms, and decided last year not to seek re-election.

It was a packed Ablondi room at the Memorial Building for the reception in Giombetti's honor.

Framingham Patch will have a full report later, including the surprise and thoughtful gifts presented to Giombetti and videos of the reception, but wanted to share photos from the Monday night's event first.

Foodie Cafe in Framingham catered the reception.

Residents are invited to post comments and stories about Giombetti below.
