Water Main Construction on Fenwood and Update on Other Road Projects

Framingham Public Works division has issued an alert for state and local road construction and bridge work.

MassDOT Projects:

Edgell Road: Roadway construction activities continue on Edgell Road with milling of transitions and structure adjustments. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing lane shifts on Edgell Road. Construction activities are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Use caution and expect delays while travelling in the area.

North Concord Street: Construction activities will continue, however construction activities are not expected to significantly impact traffic flows on Concord Street. Construction activities are scheduled between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. 

Old Connecticut Path/Speen Street: Construction crews will perform roadway construction activities including drainage work, structure adjustments and curbing work on Old Connecticut Path and Speen Street. Construction activities are scheduled between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic pattern.  

Framingham Public Works Highway Department Projects

Colonial Drive & Hemenway Road: Construction crews have performed roadway grading in anticipation of paving the week of Oct. 21.  Construction activities have been scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Grant Street/Pond Street Area: Construction crews will continue to perform roadway construction activities including structure adjustments and curbing work. Construction activities are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Lincoln Street: Construction crews will continue to perform sidewalk construction including installation of curbing on Lincoln Street. Construction activities are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Pleasant Street Area: The Highway Department will be performing roadway structure adjustments and curbing work in the Pleasant Street area. Construction activities are scheduled between to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. 

South Concord Street: Construction crews will continue to remove sidewalk panels and install communications conduit on Concord Street between Hartford Street and Lincoln Street. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Use caution and expect delays while travelling in this area.

FRAMINGHAM Public Works Water Department Projects

Fenwood Street: Construction crews will continue water main construction activities on Fenwood Street. Traffic will be restricted to residential traffic only while construction is in progress. Construction activities are schedule to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
