Wayland Selectman Wants to Represent Saxonville

Wayland Board of Selectmen member Joe Nolan announced Monday night he intends to run for the 13th Middlesex District representative's seat currently held by Tom Conroy (D-Wayland).

Wayland Board of Selectmen member Joe Nolan announced Monday night he intends to run for the 13th Middlesex District representative’s seat currently held by Tom Conroy (D-Wayland).

Conroy is in the midst of democratic primary run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Scott Brown.

Under redistricting, whom ever wins the 13th Middlesex District representative seat would also represent Precinct 3 in Framingham (Saxonville area.)

Nolan said in the Board of Selectmen’s meeting simply that he intended to run, but offered no further details. Nolan told Patch that he anticipates scheduling a kick-off speech in the coming weeks.

The Massachusetts House of Representatives election will take place on Nov. 6, 2012.
